INFORGE CONSULTING
Cookies, browser storage and consent choices on this website.
Published: 10 October 2026. Last reviewed: 14 October 2026.
About this policy
InForge Consulting Limited uses cookies and related browser technologies to provide its website, remember preferences and, where permitted, measure use. Contact info@inforge.uk with privacy or cookie questions. Cookies are browser files; session storage, local storage, pixels and scripts may also store or access device information. PECR applies to storage/access technologies, with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 applying to personal information.
Verified first-party technologies
- cookieyes-consent — CookieYes / InForge: remembers consent categories and preference state. First-party on inforge.uk. Approximately 365 days in the inspected configuration. Necessary to remember the user’s requested choices where limited to that purpose; the strictly necessary exception applies to that limited use.
- inforge_staging_ga — Google Analytics 4: distinguishes consented browsers on inforge.uk. Stored for up to 60 days without extending expiry on each visit. Optional Analytics consent is required.
- inforge_staging_ga_GKHP1QXHE2 — Google Analytics 4: maintains consented measurement and session state on inforge.uk, for up to 60 days. It is not exempt statistical storage.
- inforge_statistics — InForge: remembers your anonymous-statistics objection or your later choice to allow them, for 365 days. It contains only on/off, with no visitor identifier, and is used solely to respect your choice.
- wpEmojiSettingsSupports — WordPress: session-storage entry recording browser support for emoji display. First-party, lasting for the browser session rather than a persistent cookie period. Used to support rendering rather than measurement. Its limited technical purpose has been identified; a specific statutory exemption has not been conclusively established, so this notice does not assert one.
Expiry periods describe browser storage, not the retention of information already received by a provider. Cookie names, settings and browser limits can change. No top-level local-storage keys were found in the tested first-visit states.
External resources and live portfolio previews
Google font resources and AddToAny sharing resources involve third-party connections. A network request alone does not prove cookie storage or advertising collection. It can disclose IP address and browser request information even without a cookie.
The portfolio includes SSJ Beverages, The New FarmBros, Skill InForge, CapabilityOS, Dove Home Care, Dove Nationwide Care and Personalaser. Six projects use live previews of independently operated websites. Only the selected live website is mounted when the monitor approaches the viewport or a project is selected; it is replaced when another project is chosen. Their operators may receive browser and network information and use their own technologies. These external documents cannot be assumed to inherit InForge’s CookieYes decisions.
Dove Home Care is displayed as a muted, looping screen recording and matching poster hosted by InForge. Selecting it loads local media rather than the Dove website, Google Ads or Elfsight. The recording does not run scripts or store information on behalf of those external services. Clicking the recording or an external website link opens the actual site in a separate tab. That site operates independently and may use its own cookies and privacy controls. Following a link does not constitute consent to its cookies; review its own privacy and cookie information and make your choices there.
- FarmBros and Skill InForge: Google measurement requests carried denied analytics/ad-storage flags and a non-personalised-ad flag. No GA cookies appeared in those preview contexts. FarmBros’s request identifier changed after reloading the frame. These are consistent with denied-consent cookieless pings, rather than ordinary persistent-cookie measurement. FarmBros also contacted WordPress.com statistics; no statistics cookie was observed in the fresh test.
- Dove Home Care’s independently operated website: Google Ads technologies were identified on the actual external website, including test_cookie on .doubleclick.net (approximately 15 minutes) and _gcl_ls local storage, which Google describes as advertising-click storage. Its configured local-storage expiry was not established. These technologies are not loaded by InForge’s local Dove recording. Opening the external site is a separate visit; advertising-related storage is not treated as essential or covered by a statistical exception.
- Elfsight on the external Dove Home Care website, not the local recording: elfsight_viewed_recently on core.service.elfsight.com prevents duplicate widget-view counts within 15 seconds, according to Elfsight’s documentation; a short expiry was observed. _cfuvid on .elfsight.com was a session cookie used by its delivery infrastructure. No blanket exemption is asserted for the whole widget. See Elfsight’s cookie information and privacy notice.
- Dove Nationwide Care and Personalaser: Wix technologies included XSRF-TOKEN session cookies for fraud/security checks, svSession for security, stability and core functionality, and bSession for system effectiveness. Observed expiries were approximately 400 days for svSession and 30 minutes for bSession; these differ from Wix’s general documentation and are reported as tested. fedops.logger.sessionId supports fault/resilience logging; other session keys included mpaSessionId and application/chat state. Provider descriptions support security/fault-related purposes, not a conclusion that every application key is legally exempt. Local-storage configured expiry was not established.
SSJ Beverages and CapabilityOS produced no Google collection request in the tested preview state. Absence in a short browser test is not a guarantee about every possible interaction. Browser restrictions may affect cross-site storage; cookie values and visitor identifiers were not retained in this assessment.
Website statistics and optional Google Analytics
We use statistics to understand website traffic, referral sources, page interactions and engagement, helping us improve navigation, content and the user experience. We do not use this measurement for advertising, remarketing or behavioural targeting.
Anonymous website statistics: InForge’s own counter combines measurements immediately into daily totals: page views, broad referral channels, observed entry pages, page-to-page transitions, scroll depth, active engagement time, relevant enquiry links and confirmed enquiry submissions. It stores no visitor or session identifier, individual history, full referrer URL, form contents or individual event timestamp. Totals are retained for up to 400 days. Our website hosting provider, Hostinger, handles the requests on our behalf; ordinary hosting and security logs are separate from these statistical totals.
We rely on the UK PECR statistical purposes exception for these website-improvement counters. They operate without optional cookie consent. You can object free of charge using Stop anonymous statistics in the banner, Consent Preferences or the control below. An objection stops further counters from this browser and is remembered for 365 days. Previously collected anonymous totals cannot be linked back to you. You can later allow statistics again. Clearing cookies also clears the stored choice.
Anonymous website statistics:
Optional detailed analytics: Google Analytics 4, supplied by Google, uses cookies only after you select Analytics. It records consented traffic, landing pages, source and medium, sequential page views, engagement, scroll, enquiry-link clicks and successful enquiries. This allows us to understand consented journeys and website conversion funnels. Form text, email addresses and telephone numbers are not sent as analytics parameters. Collection starts when you consent; earlier unconsented journeys are not reconstructed.
The staging tag denies advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation, and suppresses Google Signals and advertising features. No User-ID or user-provided-data feature is added. GA4 event and user data in the shared property is currently retained for 14 months, with user retention reset on new activity. Standard aggregate reports may remain longer. The property has an existing daily BigQuery export used by InForge Insights; exported event data has separate retention controls, and this website change does not alter them. Google processes analytics information through its service infrastructure, including international processing described in our Privacy Policy.
GA4 is not operated under the statistical purposes exception here: its individual event retention does not provide prompt aggregation and disposal of individual records. Advanced Consent Mode cookieless collection has not been enabled; removing cookies alone would not establish an exception. The shared Google account’s data-sharing controls are an outstanding account-level review, so we do not claim that all downstream sharing has been disabled.
Changing your choices
Customise opens the existing cookie categories. Select Analytics independently, then Save My Preferences; you do not need Accept All. Reject optional declines optional cookies. Consent Preferences reopens the controls at any time. Withdrawing Analytics stops subsequent GA4 measurement immediately and removes staging analytics cookies. Anonymous-statistics objection is a separate choice, shown above and in the consent controls. Closing the dialog without saving does not grant consent. Continued browsing is not consent.
Browser privacy controls may also restrict or clear storage. Other live portfolio previews are operated independently and do not automatically inherit InForge’s choices; see the external-resources section above.
Review
We review this policy when scripts, previews or provider settings change, and check whether its descriptions and preference controls remain accurate.
